Generalised influential rule search scheme for fuzzy function approximation
نویسندگان
چکیده
The present paper is a humble attempt to develop a fuzzy function approximator which can completely self-generate its fuzzy rule base and input-output membership functions from an input-output data set. The fuzzy system can be further adapted to modify its rule base and output membership functions to provide satisfactory performance. This proposed scheme, called generalised influential rule search scheme, has been successfully implemented to develop pure fuzzy function approximators as well as fuzzy logic controllers. The satisfactory performance of the proposed scheme is amply demonstrated by implementing it to develop different major components in a process control loop. The versatility of the algorithm is further proved by implementing it for a benchmark nonlinear function approximation problem.

Voltage Sag Compensation with DVR in Power Distribution System Based on Improved Cuckoo Search Tree-Fuzzy Rule Based Classifier Algorithm
A new technique presents to improve the performance of dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) for voltage sag mitigation. This control scheme is based on cuckoo search algorithm with tree fuzzy rule based classifier (CSA-TFRC). CSA is used for optimizing the output of TFRC so the classification output of the network is enhanced. While, the combination of cuckoo search algorithm, fuzzy and decision tree...
متن کاملADAPTIVE BACKSTEPPING CONTROL OF UNCERTAIN FRACTIONAL ORDER SYSTEMS BY FUZZY APPROXIMATION APPROACH
In this paper, a novel problem of observer-based adaptive fuzzy fractional control for fractional order dynamic systems with commensurate orders is investigated; the control scheme is constructed by using the backstepping and adaptive technique. Dynamic surface control method is used to avoid the problem of “explosion of complexity” which is caused by backstepping design process. Fuzzy logic sy...
متن کاملA QUADRATIC MARGIN-BASED MODEL FOR WEIGHTING FUZZY CLASSIFICATION RULES INSPIRED BY SUPPORT VECTOR MACHINES
Recently, tuning the weights of the rules in Fuzzy Rule-Base Classification Systems is researched in order to improve the accuracy of classification. In this paper, a margin-based optimization model, inspired by Support Vector Machine classifiers, is proposed to compute these fuzzy rule weights. This approach not only considers both accuracy and generalization criteria in a single objective fu...

This paper comprises two parts, the first deals with the conception of a class of Hybrid Granular Min-Max Fuzzy-Neuro Relational Learners, for which a learning scheme was devised that uses an exhaustive search over the fuzzy partitions of involved variables, automatic fuzzy hypotheses generation, formulation and testing, and successive approximation procedure of Min-Max relational equations. Th...
متن کاملA Margin-based Model with a Fast Local Searchnewline for Rule Weighting and Reduction in Fuzzynewline Rule-based Classification Systems
Fuzzy Rule-Based Classification Systems (FRBCS) are highly investigated by researchers due to their noise-stability and interpretability. Unfortunately, generating a rule-base which is sufficiently both accurate and interpretable, is a hard process. Rule weighting is one of the approaches to improve the accuracy of a pre-generated rule-base without modifying the original rules. Most of the pro...
